Deva manufactures a range of PCI bus CMM Controllers based on a custom-designed ASIC, the Deva 004 range contains a wealth of sophisticated features which provide high speed performance and handle many modes of motion including 'S' curve acceleration profiles, point-to-point and circular interpolation.
A comprehensive software support package is supplied, which includes libraries and examples for modern rapid application development tools such as Visual Basic and Visual 'C', in which the use and features of the motion control function library are clearly illustrated by example source code. An ActiveX control encapsulates the functionality required by CNC CMM applications in a fast, easy-to-use component.
