DEVACMM SUPPORT
SOFTWARE
As an alternative
to the native Deva001 drivers provided under Drivers &
Patches, based on the Deva004 PCI CMM Controller driver layer
and compatible with the Deva001, the DevaCmm component offers
extended features such as linear and squareness axis compensation.
Includes driver support and utilities compatible
with Windows 9x/2000/ME/XP/Vista 32 bit/7 32 bit. Also includes
software developers kit (SDK) and support for 3rd party CAD
packages. Please contact us if you require drivers for 64
bit platforms.
Designed
to interface industry-standard rotary shaft encoders and linear
scales to PC-compatible computers, the DEVA001 incremental
encoder interface card makes it possible to measure position,
velocity and acceleration in such wide-ranging applications
as robotics, co-ordinate measuring machines and CNC machine
tools.
Based on a custom-designed ASIC quadrature
counter, the DEVA001 interface card provides three
independent encoder channels each with a 32-bit position counter
with a maximum count rate of 10MHz. The DEVA001 also
contains a wealth of synchronisation and triggering facilities
which enables both OEMs and end-users to create powerful and
highly flexible PC-based measurement systems.
A comprehensive software support package
includes libraries and examples for modern rapid application
development tools such as Visual Basic, Visual 'C' and LabVIEW.
Plug 'n' Play software support for Windows 98/NT4/2000/ME/XP
and Vista enables simple installation and automatic configuration
of up to 6 interfaces supporting a total of 18 encoders. The
card is also supplied with a multi-axis digital readout program
which is useful for system verification and experimentation.
ACCESSORIES / OPTIONS
001-REN-KIT
is available to extend the onboard probe connection to outside
the PC. It contains a 9 pin sub-miniature female D connector
on a PC bracket, a 6.5" cable to a 10 way IDC header,
9 way plug and 'D' shell.
001CONKIT contains 3 x 15 way HD plugs and
'D' shells to make encoder connections.
CMM support software is
available for customers making use of the Deva 001 interface
in manual co-ordinate measuring machines. Note : this is required
if any third party CMM software
is to be used.
