available is the Deva 023 reader head pre-amp for use
with standard Brown & Sharpe reader heads commonly found
on MicroVal EM, MicroVal, Xcel, MicroXcel, Gauge 2000, and
Tesa MicroXcel machines. The Deva 023 performs the necessary
signal conditioning required for use with the Deva 018 to
expand the use of Deva's motion and measurement cards as a
complete CMM retrofit solution for a variety of machines from
manufacturers such as Brown & Sharpe, Tesa and DEA.
The Deva 023 has a 15 way 'D'-type
connector at one end, which is pin compatible with the existing
reader head and the other end of the module has a high-density
15 way 'D'-type connector that mates directly with the Deva
018. The module incorporates 4 trim pots which are used to
scale and offset the sine wave signals in the same way as
found on existing equipment. The trim pots may be linked out
if they are duplicated on the existing cable.
