The Deva 023 has a 15 way 'D'-type connector at one end, which is pin compatible with the existing reader head and the other end of the module has a high-density 15 way 'D'-type connector that mates directly with the Deva 018. The module incorporates 4 trim pots which are used to scale and offset the sine wave signals in the same way as found on existing equipment. The trim pots may be linked out if they are duplicated on the existing cable.
